BOLT DOWN BACKSTAY & SPIGOT BASE
A robust hoarding support system for use on high strength tarmac and concrete where surface ground penetration and working space for backstays are not constraints.
COMPONENTS AND INSTALLATION
A robust galvanised backstay tube fabricated with a high strength bracket at each end fixes to the top of the hoarding with a backstay plate fixed into the ground surface using a minimum 2no. approved ground anchors. The hoarding panels themselves are located on a spigoted base plate that is anchored using 3no. approved ground anchors. Panel uplift is prevented using the spigoted base plates anti lift feature that connects to the bottom hoarding coupler.

SUITABLE APPLICATION
- When ground penetration is permitted in the form of expandable rag bolts or resin anchors
- On most concrete slabs and quality tarmac surfaces anchor fixings are deemed strong enough to withstand the uplift forces.
- Ballast weights and block trays are not required keeping transport to a minimum.
